Middle School Retreat - October 6-8, 2023
We're so excited to take our middle school students down to Lake Ann Camp on October 6-8 for an amazing weekend retreat, called Exiled!
Exiled is an immersive retreat where students will be invited into an intriguing story of danger and deliverance as they make choices to remain faithful to the God they serve. It's a story of grace and redemption... and our students get a front row seat to experience it firsthand! When God intersects a person’s life, everything changes. This year's version of Exiled, First Century AD, will chronologically look at the transformation of Saul the persecutor into Paul the Apostle of Jesus Christ.
Paul later wrote, "I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ is already named, lest I build upon someone else’s foundations." That statement came long after his road to Damascus encounter with Christ. On this retreat, students will watch what happened to Paul and will then, through engaging activities, will see how God can use them to share the life giving message of the gospel with their peers.
When: October 6-8 (vehicles leave from WLCC at 4:00 pm on 10/6 and return around 2:00 pm on 10/8)
Who: This retreat is for students in middle school.
Why: Spiritual passion and growth, and training in reaching a lost world for Jesus.
Where: Lake Ann Camp (just outside of Traverse City)
Cost: $155 per student (includes 2 nights of housing, all meals, and activities)
Registration deadline: Wednesday, October 4, 2023
